Hi, I’m Marc McKenna and I am the President of Future Seminole Actuaries (FSA). I am a senior with a double major in Actuarial Science and Statistics. I will be graduating in spring 2020 with P, FM, and IFM already passed. In my free time I enjoy playing basketball, hiking, doing yoga, hanging out with friends, cooking, and meditating. The past two summers, I’ve been an actuarial intern at Humana, gaining practical experience in Excel, SAS, and SQL, as well as a variety of soft skills necessary to navigate the corporate world. I have also been fortunate enough to study abroad in Florence, Italy during spring 2018. This allowed me to explore Europe and see various cultures for an extended period of time. The experience gave me great memories and new perspectives of the world. Because I’ve been so fortunate, I feel the need to give back, which is why I am involved in volunteering with Take Stock In Children and FSU’s Youth Mentor Program. I’m excited to start my new role and serve FSA this coming school year. I want to supply students with the resources necessary for them to succeed. Furthermore, I aim to connect companies with the many intelligent and capable actuarial science students involved in the program.

Past President

Anthony is the former President of Future Seminole Actuaries. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Florida State University this past spring. Currently, Anthony works as an Actuarial Analyst in Aetna’s Actuarial Leadership Development Program in Hartford, Connecticut.

Vice President

Hello! I am Michael Ramsey, a junior at FSU studying Actuarial Science and Risk Management/Insurance. I am excited to be a part of Future Seminole Actuary’s Officer Team this year. I am passionate about helping others manage risk and recover in times of loss. This summer I am interning with Travelers as part of their Actuarial & Advanced Analytics Program. I also enjoy playing jazz on my saxophone, ultimate frisbee, and chess. This year I plan to help aspiring actuaries at FSU pursue their goals and prepare their skills to enter the industry upon graduating.

Director of Technology

Hello everyone, my name is Crystal Pusey. I am a Sophomore here at Florida State University. I am majoring in Actuarial Science and adding Computer Science as a second major. Last semester I passed the FM exam, and I am currently studying for the P exam. One of my goals this year is to gain experience though an internship. I am looking forward to working with all of you in FSA this year as Director of Technology. If you have any questions, please email me at

Director of Corporate Outreach

Hi everyone! My name is Kristen Swinski and I’m the Director of Corporate Outreach for the upcoming academic year. I’m a senior here at Florida State set to graduate in May 2020 and plan to pursue a Masters Degree in Finance after graduation. I have recently passed both the FM and P actuarial exams. This summer I will have the opportunity to work for Main Street America Group in Jacksonville in their Personal Lines Department. I’m so excited to assist with the Fall 2019 jobs fair as my internship would not be possible without Future Seminole Actuaries. Aside from FSA, I actively volunteer with the Medical Response Unit on campus. I look forward to meeting and to continue building relationships with everyone in the upcoming year!

Director of Advising

Hi! My name is Catherine Williams and I am the Director of Advising for Future Seminole Actuaries. I'm a rising senior graduating in May 2020 and this summer I interned at the National Council on Compensation Insurance (NCCI) in their Actuarial Division. NCCI analyzes the workers comp data for nearly 38 states to provide insight on industry trends and recommend rate changes, and getting the chance to focus on their Indemnity and Legislative team was life changing! Check out my interview I had last month with AdvisorSmith! I discussed what it's like to be an Actuarial Science major, my internship at NCCI and the Actuarial program at Florida State. As the Director of Advising, I really hope to be the key person that prospective and current students come to when looking for advice on which classes to take, questions about the exam process, or about FSU's Actuarial Science Program as a whole. I can help you pick out which classes to take when/with others and I would love to discuss anything that will make your time at FSU easier!

Director of Activities

Hello everyone! My name is Christine Marie Gepilano and I will be your Director of Activities for the 2019-2020 school year. Being a part of an actuarial organization brought light to my eyes on how we as a community can bond with each other whether it be having tailgates or a potluck study session for any hard classes (looking at you MAP 4170). I have always enjoyed hanging out with people in this major or even the risk management insurance community because of the 2 in 1 networking opportunity and college experience and I would love to share it to all of you! Fun fact about me: I was previously involved as an executive board member of the Filipino Student Association which has the same acronyms as the Future Seminole Actuaries!
