President: Kannon Gailey
Hi everyone! My name is Kannon and I am so excited to serve as President for Future Seminole Actuaries this year. I am a Junior from Tampa pursuing a dual degree in Actuarial Science and Risk Management and Insurance. I have passed Exam FM and Exam P, and this past summer I had the opportunity to intern with Hannover Re in their Enterprise Risk Management department. Outside of FSA, I am in involved with my sorority and I work as a fitness trainer. I also love to watch soccer, read, and be with my friends in my spare time. I can't wait to see all that the board accomplishes this year!
Vice President: Alex Trichon
Hi everyone, my name is Alex Trichon, and I am serving as the vice president of FSA for the 2026/2027 school year. I am a Senior pursuing a degree in Actuarial Science and am from the Philadelphia suburbs. I have passed both FM and P and have spent this past summer interning at Oliver Wyman with both their Philadelphia & Princeton P&C offices. Outside of school, I really enjoy golfing, watching Philadelphia sports, and music, and am currently training for a marathon. I’m very excited to meet everyone and to help make this a great year for FSA!
Director of Corporate Outreach: Andrew Germano
Hi everyone! My name is Andrew Germano, and I’m excited to serve as the Director of Corporate Outreach for FSA this year! I am a senior from Melbourne, Florida double majoring in Actuarial Science and Risk Management & Insurance. I have passed exams FM and P, and this summer I am interning with Aon as a Health & Benefits Actuarial Intern in Tampa. Previously, I interned with the Florida Office of Insurance Regulation. I love being outdoors, walking around campus, and hanging out with friends. I'm also a big sports fan, I enjoy playing and watching almost all sports. I'm really looking forward to meeting everyone and helping make this a great year for the club!
Director of Advising: Steven Ferstenfeld
Hi everyone, my name is Steven Ferstenfeld, and I am incredibly excited to serve as your Director of Advising for FSA this academic year! I am a rising senior double-majoring in Actuarial Science and Economics. On the exam front, I have passed Exam FM and am currently preparing to sit for Exam P later this July. This summer, I’m gaining hands-on experience interning at Allied Trust Insurance Company in Tampa, where I have been supporting their pricing and reserving teams. Come fall, I’ll be transitioning to an internship with the Florida Office of Insurance Regulation (FLOIR) focusing on Private Passenger Auto. Around campus, you can also find me working as a THRIVE 25 Teaching Assistant for transfer students and serving as an active member on the Actuarial Board for Gamma Iota Sigma (GIS). I am ecstatic to kick off the semester and look forward to a fantastic year ahead!
Director of Technology: Trevor Fosser
Hi, my name is Trevor Fosser, and I am honored to step into the role of Director of Technology this year! I am a third-year student from Chicago majoring in Actuarial Science & Economics. I have passed 3 exams including FM, P, and MAS-I, and I will be sitting for Exam 5 in October. This summer I worked at CNA as a commercial actuarial intern. Outside of school, I am involved in my fraternity, Phi Gamma Delta, and I am a member of Gamma Iota Sigma as well as Ducks Unlimited. In my free time, I love to go hunting & fishing, play golf, and watch football. I look forward to a great year with FSA, and feel free to reach out to me at any time!
Director of Activities: Jillian Hansen
Hey everyone! My name is Jillian Hansen and I am thrilled to serve as FSA’s Director of Activities this coming year. I am a Junior from Pierre, South Dakota pursuing a double major in Actuarial Science and Risk Management/Insurance. I am currently sitting for Exam P and have passed Exam FM. At FSU I am also the treasurer of my book club, Fiction and Film. In my free time I enjoy reading, going to sporting events, and attending concerts. I am looking forward to planning activities and everything else the board has in store for FSA this year!
Incumbent President: Caitlin Collier
Hello! My name is Caitlin Collier, and I am the incumbent President of FSA! I am a Senior pursuing a dual degree in Actuarial Science and Risk Management/Insurance. I’m also an out-of-state student from Massachusetts. I have passed Exam FM and Exam P, and I've spent the past two summers interning with Liberty Mutual in their Boston office! Outside of my actuarial career, I serve as a Resident Assistant in Salley Hall, the President of Noles Everywhere (FSU's out-of-state student organization), and a Service Scholar. I’m looking forward to an amazing year with FSA!
