Can I have information shared to students before the event?
To prepare for the career fair, you can set up a short video about your company and job opportunities, a document explaining this, or a link to a website page. If you would like to do this, please send them to cap18e@my.fsu.edu. We will be posting them on our website, https://www.fsuactsci.com/, for our students to see.
Can I request additional interview Zoom Links?
Please RSVP to this email and respond with your intent of receiving an additional room.
What time is the fair on Thursday?
The virtual networking event on Thursday will be from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Students will be broken up into groups and entering the event throughout the allotted time.
Can I attend part/certain times throughout the afternoon of the Thursday Career Fair?
Yes, you can attend for parts of the afternoon! We ask that you let us know beforehand, so we can prepare accordingly for the event.
How can we contact students after the Thursday Career Fair to fill remaining time slots for the Friday Interviewing Event?
Before the Thursday Career Fair, you will be sent a booklet containing all student resumes, including contact information. We recommend you have the person’s resume pulled up before talking to them. If a student's resume is not apart of the booklet, then they are NOT apart of the Actuarial Program.
How will Interviews work on Friday, September 18th?
Interviews will be held virtually through the FSU Career Center and NoleNetwork. Each recruiter will have the ability to have one-on-one interviews scheduled in time blocks however they see fit. If you have more than one recruiter, you have the option of having two separate rooms and scheduling separate interview sessions.
